We ourselves are currently living in the Seventh and final Age of Middle-earth, as this video demonstrates through evidence from Tolkien’s writings. Despite knowing very little about the events of the Fifth or Sixth Ages, Tolkien wrote a great deal about the Seventh, especially the epochal event which started it.
